Following the recent announcement that the company will enter the Australian whitegoods and built-in kitchen appliance market, Kogan has introduced the first products to its new SmarterHome range, two panel heaters. The range will expand to include smart plugs, bulbs, portable air conditioners and more, throughout 2018.
The Kogan SmarterHome 1500 watt panel heater is on pre-sale for $99, while the Kogan 2000 watt panel heater retails for $129.
Consumers will control the products via the free Kogan SmarterHome app, available on both iOS and Android. They can set their heater or air conditioning to automatically turn on or off at specific times of the day or when temperatures reach a certain level.
The customisable Back Home feature will do things automatically, such as turn on lights to optimal brightness, turn on the air conditioner and switch on a non-smart pedestal fan. Throughout the day, users can change the mood in any room with multiple light settings.
