Seven models in line-up.

TCL Electronics claims its new QLED TVs are its most technologically-advanced to date offering a system for the family buyer through to the home entertainment aficionado.

Unveiled in January at CES, there are seven models in the new range. The 85-inch premium QLED Private Theatre X6 features Quantum Dot technology to enhance colour volume and picture quality and Local Dimming for precise lighting control to deliver an immersive home entertainment experience. It comes with a 360-degree, 12-channel sound system supporting Dolby Atmos.

The X and C Series both employ HDR Premium and Wide Colour Gamut for delivering picture quality and Harman Kardon audio.

The X Series also includes the 65-inch and 55-inch X4 QLED Android TVTM voice search. Alongside the X Series, TCL is launching the C and P Series, including the C6 QUHD Android TVTM Series, in 65-inch, 55-inch and 49-inch screen sizes, the C4 QUHD Android TVTM Series in 75-inch and 70-inch sizes and the P6 QUHD Android TVTM in 65-inch, 55-inch, 50-inch and 43-inch panels.

Ultra HD models feature Android TVTM voice search and Chromecast built-in, providing unlimited access to Google PlayTM for purchasing and downloading music, movies and games, and the latest operating system Android Nougat.

TCL Australia general manager, Mark Zhang said QLED technology offers a host of benefits including better picture quality and an improved viewing experience.

“TCL strives to push boundaries and explore innovative possibilities, aiming to provide the next generation in home entertainment to our customers,” he said. “To ensure we deliver on this promise, we make an ongoing commitment to research and development that not only optimises our products’ picture quality, smart capabilities, sound and design, but works to captivate and inspire. We believe our newest range of TVs does just that.”

TCL has also announced the appointment of Brazilian professional footballer Neymar Jr. as global brand ambassador.
