To drive headphone range.

Aqipa Australia has become the new local distributor for headphone brand, Audiofly, to drive local success and build an international footprint for the brand.

Since establishment in Perth in 2012, Audiofly has introduced in-ear monitors, while working to bring a pro-sound and high quality to everyday consumer headphones. Currently available in JB Hi-Fi and select independent retailers, the Audiofly range will receive additional resources and focus under this new agreement.

Audiofly international sales manager, Matt Rowett said, “Aqipa’s expertise in the lifestyle and consumer electronic markets, teamed with their impressive sales systems, made them an obvious choice to partner with us and help facilitate our rapid brand growth.

“While new to the Australian market they have experienced immediate success with complementary brands, and they have an extensive European operation upon which to draw a wealth of knowledge and experience for building young innovative brands such as ours.”

Aqipa was founded by the Trapl family in partnership with Pataco AG Switzerland in 1990 and operate in several markets across Europe. With a focus on consumer electronics and lifestyle accessories, their Australian office opening was their first venture into the APAC region, and they provide sales and logistics expertise to over 50 brands across seven consumer categories.

Aqipa sales and marketing director, Sohan Karunaratne commented, “Audiofly is a great Australian brand we have followed since launch, their passion and commitment to creating high-quality yet affordable products made our decision to partner with them a no-brainer. We are looking forward to taking things to the next level in our local market and throughout our global business.”
