With industry-leading suction power.

Samsung has confirmed an April launch for its debut in the stick vacuum cleaner category with the PowerStick Pro, which was initially unveiled in September at IFA in Berlin. Claiming to offer industry-leading suction power with 150 watts, the vacuum is powered by Samsung’s digital inverter motor.

Boasting up to 40 minutes of battery life, the battery pack is designed to retain 80% of its original capacity for up to 500 full charge and discharge cycles, with no decrease in the battery power for five years.

It also offers a turbo action brush that can clean dust up from various floor types and a patented ergonomic flex handle that folds up to 50 degrees to reach under low furniture with ease. The EzClean dustbin empties with one pull of the lever, and the entire dustbin structure can be detached and washed with water. Hygienic HEPA filtration ensures that up to 99.9% of the dust collected stays in the canister.

Samsung Electronics Australia director of home appliances, Jeremy Senior said, “The stick vacuum market in Australia has grown exponentially over the last few years and consumers are adapting to the need to have multiple vacuum cleaners in the home. For example, a stick vac for spot cleaning, a barrel vac for everyday or full house cleaning and then a robotic vacuum to make life easier.

“When looking for a stick vac, consumers want power and this is one of the most powerful stick vacs available on the market. Consumers are also looking for longer battery life and the Powerstick Pro offers up to 40 minutes of battery life.”
