Winner of Roy Morgan Award.

Roy Morgan has announced the winners of its seventh annual Customer Satisfaction Awards that recognise outstanding levels of customer satisfaction, judged by more than 50,000 consumers.

The award categories cover sectors such as retail, telecommunications and utilities. First time winners were JB Hi-Fi for Electrical Store of the Year and Costco for Discount Department Store of the Year.  Myer took out the Department Store of the Year award for the third consecutive year while Bunnings won Hardware Store of the Year. In the telecommunications sector the Apple iPhone won for Mobile Handset Provider and Amaysim won the Service Provider award.

Roy Morgan CEO Michele Levine said the awards continue to be the benchmark by which customer satisfaction is measured, and the 31 businesses honoured in the 2017 awards share one crucial characteristic: their unrivalled dedication to ensuring their customers are satisfied, and their success as rated by their customers.

“Reliable, accurate and totally objective, the Australian awards reflect the experiences of some 50,000 consumers, in face-to-face interviews as aggregated in our single source survey over 12 months,” she said.
