Last month, KitchenAid launched its limited edition monochromatic stand mixer with each individually numbered on the custom trim band. The company has confirmed that the number one Black Tie Stand Mixer was auctioned and sold for $4,550 on eBay with all proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House.
KitchenAid senior category manager, Filiz Bensan said, “We are thankful for everyone’s support in making this happen. We didn’t expect to receive such an overwhelming response to this auction and we couldn’t be happier for the amount that was raised.”
The stand mixer is available through selected retailers for an RRP $1,299.
