Samsung Electronics Australia has unveiled two new additions to its Family Hub refrigerator range with a new 671L French Door and 634L Flat Door French Door with Entertainers Drawer, as well as enhanced features to order and manage groceries, connect with family and friends, and access entertainment.
Samsung Electronics Australia head of home appliances, Jeremy Senior said, “Family Hub has transformed the concept of the connected home. Having the option to order your groceries using the Woolworths app, manage family member schedules, access entertainment and connect to your washing machine and POWERbot, Australians can now better manage their households straight from the hub of the home.”
An entirely new and easy-to-use interface has been developed to customise the home screen and create up to six profiles using avatars. With the 21.5-inch LED touch-screen, family members can share photos, access updated calendars, handwrite memos in real time, and post memos from anywhere via the Family Hub app on a compatible smartphone.

Users can determine which food items need to be re-stocked through the built-in cameras and View Inside app. To keep food fresher for longer Family Hub 2.0 includes three separate cooling systems to help maintain temperature control and humidity while minimising the mixing of odours. Triple cooling technology allows for flexibility and control with the option to convert the bottom right freezer to a fridge for extra fridge space.
The option of the entertainer’s drawer provides flexibility for food storage, with four pre-set temperature settings. With one touch it can be optimised for fresh meat, poultry and fish, chilled beverages, deli foods or wine. Additionally, the adjustable Smart Divider fitted inside helps keep glass and other delicate items from moving.

Family Hub 2.0 comes pre-installed with the Woolworths app so users can add items to their digital lists and order directly from their fridge door. In addition to featuring both Spotify and TuneIn Radio apps, Family Hub 2.0 allows users to mirror content direct from a compatible Samsung TV or compatible smartphone directly to the 21.5-inch LED touch screen.
The Family Hub 634L Flat Door French Door (SRF630BFH2) is exclusive to Harvey Norman for an RRP of $6,199. The Family Hub 671L French Door (SRF671BFH2) is now available for an RRP of $5,999.
