The Princess brand of small appliances is no longer being distributed by Schweigen Home Appliances and instead will ship directly to retailers from its factory in China.
Princess is a Dutch brand that started in 1994 and currently manufactures and markets benchtop, floorcare and garment care appliances. The brand is perhaps best known for its bamboo table chef griddle:
Rather than appoint a new distributor, the company is looking to deal directing with retailers to save money.
“Australia is such a competitive market that our company has decided to deal directly with retailers instead of working via distributor,” a spokesperson said.
“All orders will be shipped FOB (free on board) from China and our Hong Kong and Shenzhen office will serve directly.”
