Consumer electronics distributor Crest Electronics has made a number of appointments to its management team, bringing on a new sales and marketing director, chief financial officer and supply chain director to the local team.
An FMCG veteran with experience at Mars and Pepsi-Cola, Mike Edgson has joined the company as sales and marketing director, while South African native Larisha Engelbrecht has been brought on as the company’s chief financial officer, following her recent tenure as commercial director at the Total Produce Group in the United Kingdom.
Finally, Mark Gibson joins Crest as supply chain director, bringing with him experience gained across a number of industries including fresh food processing and building products.
Speaking about the appointments, Crest Electronics managing director Ralph Olbertz praised the new arrivals saying they would be an asset to the team.
“The wealth of talent that we have brought in to Crest in recent months is a demonstration of our investment in the continuing evolution of the Crest business,” he said. “I’m certain that the new team members will play a key role in implementing the strategic direction for the business in the near future.”
