Nespresso is reprising its successful cashback offer on portioned coffee machines as a way of enticing consumers to purchase a new machine for Christmas.
Officially launching next week, the promotion offers consumers $60 cashback on machines from the Nespresso U, Pixie, Citiz and Essenza ranges, or $100 cashback on Maestria and Lattissima machines.
Speaking about the promotion, which follows on from similar offers for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day earlier in the year, was John Ciaglia, commercial manager for Nespresso Australia.
“We recognise cash-backs are a valuable sales tool for our retailers and we are delighted to offer our cash-back promotion on the full range of Nespresso machines to suit any budget and fit into any environment,” he said.
“It is a great way for shoppers looking to purchase a new coffee machine for a loved one or even themselves, to enter the world of Nespresso.
“Whether you’re looking for a machine that is modular, space-saving or reminiscent of professional barista equipment, the range of Nespresso machines will satisfy even the most discerning coffee connoisseur.”
The promotion is open from 19 November 2012 to 13 January 2013 and is available on machines purchased both at Nespresso boutiques and appliances retailers that stock the machines. It is set to be supported by a point-of-sale materials and increased in-store demonstrations, as well as a five-week TV campaign and print, outdoor and digital advertising.
