The Winning Group has today joined Harvey Norman, Bi-Rite Electrical and Betta Stores Retail as Retravision cherrypickers, purchasing the Ron Handley Retravision at Indooroopilly.

This purchase comes a week after The Winning Group announced the acquisition of the McKnights Retravision business, which no longer operated any consumer-facing stores.

A spokesperson for The Winning Group confirmed to Current.com.au that the Ron Handley store will be converted into a Winning Appliances showroom, though no timeframe was specified.

Furthermore, the following quotes from CEO John Winning were supplied, presumably written from his current overseas location.

“Our acquisition of Ron Handley Retravision expands our presence in the Queensland market to two showrooms, joining our showroom in Fortitude Valley which opened a year ago,” Winning said.

“This investment represents a strategic opportunity to expand our business in Queensland, which is currently experiencing strong growth.

“The Indooroopilly showroom is in a prime location and with Mel Spiteri at the helm, it has achieved a high level of customer service, which we are keen to maintain.

“We are delighted to have Mel Spiteri’s experience to assist in leading the team and growing business in the local area.”
