Following the launch of a new coffee machine offering in April this year, Electrolux has officially unveiled new additions to its small appliances range, adding two new products in the food prep and linen care categories, as well as a new cappuccino machine in the Lavazza A Modo Mio by Electrolux range.

The announcement comes after the range was first showcased to retailers and Current.com.au in a preview in August, when Electrolux Floor Care and Small Appliances CEO Henrik Bergström was in Australia.

Speaking about the new products was the managing director of Electrolux Small Appliances Australia, John Mahar.

“This growing expansion of Small Appliances from floor care into additional areas of the home is a natural and important progression for the brand,” he said. “This move allows Electrolux to continue being a leader in innovative products, across all aspects of home living and entertaining.

“Each new product has been thoughtfully created with our consumers’ insights. Our focus on producing premium designs and quality finishes is present throughout each of our new appliances, all of which will be available from October.”

In the kitchen, Electrolux has announced the release of the Turbopro Stick Mixer, which features a stainless steel shaft with an anti-scratch and anti-splash design, made for mixing directly in pans and bowls. The triple-blade mixer also features variable speed settings with a turbo function and is available in watermelon red (with mini chopper and double whisk attachments, RRP $139) or liquorice (with double whisks only, RRP $119).

In linen care, Electrolux will launch irons for the first time in Australia, with three models under the Ultrasteam banner.

The Ultrasteam Iron 200 (Aruba Blue, RRP $99), Ultrasteam Iron 300 (Rosso Passione, RRP $119) and Ultrasteam Iron 400 (Silver, RRP $129) feature automatic steam control, a lifetime permanent anti-scale cartridge and 600 micro holes for delivering powerful steam all the way to the tip of the soleplate.

Finally, boosting Electrolux’s coffee line-up is the Lavazza A Modo Mio Cappuccino by Electrolux (RRP $399) which adds to the previous models’ feature set with new cappuccino functionality. The machine features a refrigerator- and dishwasher-safe integrated milk steamer system for “plug and play milk frothing”, making it suitable for preparing cappuccinos and lattes. The machine will be available in grey or red gloss and, like other machines in the range, will be compatible with Lavazza A Modo Mio capsules.

Electrolux’s Stick Mixers and Irons will be available from October this year, while the new cappuccino machine will be available from December.
