The match kicks off just after 8pm on the Eastern Seaboard and Tasmania (that’s 7:30pm in South Australia and the Northern Territory, and 6pm in Western Australia) and is being shown live in glorious SD on Channel 9 and affiliates.

Those wanting an HD look at all the controversial moments can watch a replay on Fox Sports HD at 10:30pm (AEST).

Congratulations to Fujifilm, the only company to send a State Of Origin themed media release in the lead-up to this game. And it’s a topical one too — the New South Wales Blues visited Harvey Norman Balgowlah to check out the latest Fujifilm FinePix tough cameras (ZP150, RRP $329). These cameras are waterproof to 10 metres — about the same amount of rain that’s fallen in Sydney over the last week.

Anthony 'Choc' Watmough and Brett 'Snake' Stewart lead the Blues in this heartfelt show of affection for Fujifilm cameras.

The coach and the captain: Ricky 'Sticky' Stuart and Paul 'Gal' Gallen.
