Samsung is set to launch its newest smartphone-tablet hybrid in Sydney tomorrow night, in what the company is calling a showcase of "the future of Samsung technology".

The Samsung Galaxy Note was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year, with the a stylus for the touchscreen and a larger-than-your-average-smartphone form factor being the key selling points. Indeed, it is the latter feature that has many tech-commentators calling it a phablet.

Yes, we dislike that word just as much as you do.
