SYDNEY, NSW: Samsung Australia has today announced five new appointments in its Australia operations. These appointments include sales, marketing and internal structures, and involve promotions and outside appointments.

The five new appointments are:

-Shaun Penrose is the new head of retail sales in consumer electronics.
-Chris Farrer is the new head of retail sales of national accounts.
-Brad Wright is the new group product manager of consumer electronics for home appliances and AV.
-Kate Hopper is the new sponsorships manager.
-Jason Lee is the new finance director.

“We’re delighted to both welcome new colleagues to our team and also recognise great work through internal promotions,” said Samsung vice president of retail sales and marketing Michael Richardson in a statement.

“2010 has been another strong year for Samsung and as we look forward to another prosperous year, we recognise that staff excellence is critical in our ongoing efforts to be the number one brand in all segments of the market.”
