SYDNEY, NSW: A lucky northern New South Wales gamer has had 64 Xbox games returned after they were discovered abandoned on a street on Sunday afternoon.

A member of the public found the black case on Tamar Street in Ballina at about 6pm on Sunday and handed it in to the police. Following a public appeal yesterday afternoon the games were returned to their owner.

Newly released X360 games retail at JB Hi-Fi from $39 to $99, which means the games could have been worth thousands of dollars.

According to a Sydney JB Hi-Fi salesperson today’s most popular Xbox games include Call of Duty Black Ops ($89), Fable 3 ($99), International Cricket 2010 ($79) and NBA 2K ($89).
