SYDNEY, NSW: Hisense has announced two new television models with 1:1 pixel mapping that “revolutionises picture quality” and will allow them to be used as a computer monitor.
The new screens will be added to the K15 series as a 24-inch and a 42-inch model and will be available in October with a three year in-home replacement warranty.
The Chinese supplier said the main objective of the K15 series is affordability for consumers who want an LED edge-lit LCD TV.
“We are very excited about the K15 Series, which gives unprecedented screen quality in an LED edge-lit LCD TV,” said Andre Iannuzzi, Hisense ANZ marketing manager.
“These are the first in a range of new products we will be rolling out over the next few months.”
The 24-inch LED edge-lit LCD TV with full HD and 1:1 pixel mapping (RRP $549) will be available this week while the equivalent 42-inch (RRP $1199) will be available at the end of the month, according to a Hisense statement.
Hisense intends to introduce its full range of products to the Australian market gradually. Currently it distributes products through major national retailers as well as regional outlets.
