SYDNEY, NSW: Samsung has announced yet another whitegoods related promotional event, further proving it was serious when it said it was going to be investing heavily in home appliances in 2010.

Eager to promote itself as a complete supplier, rather than a specialist AV brand, Samsung has run repeated campaigns throughout the year in support of its major appliances, such as its Space refrigerators and its Bubble Wash washing machines. Its next venture is a presentation to the public at the upcoming Better Homes and Gardens live show.

Samsung will have a stand at the show, which is debuting at Homebush on 15 October 2010, as part of its associate partnership of the Better Homes and Gardens brand. Group senior product manager for White Goods Mike Lilly said Samsung will be showcasing its entire range of home appliances, plus a number of new products expected to be available in 2011.

“The Better Homes and Gardens Live event provides us with the perfect opportunity to showcase not only our broad range of products, but also the cutting edge technologies and design features that make Samsung home appliances smarter and more efficient,” Lilly said.

The event runs 15-17 October 2010 at the Showground at Sydney Olympic Park.
