SYDNEY, NSW: Omega has launched a new range of kitchen appliances that move away from the ubiquity of stainless steel.

According to Omega Appliances, black has made an aesthetic come-back as an elegant alternative as it easily integrates into popular kitchen finishes such as stone, ceramic, timber and glass.

The new appliances released by Omega with the black finish include the OO612XN oven (RRP $1499), which features ten cooking modes, a boost function that significantly reduces the time the oven takes to reach the required temperature, a clean function for easy cleaning and an LED touch control panel.

Omega has also launched three black glass gas hobs, called Aria, that feature either four, five or six burners, including a rapid wok burner, flame failure device, automatic electronic ignition and cast iron trivets and burner caps. The OGG64A Aria cooktop retails for RRP $1199.
