SEOUL, KOREAN REP.: France has defeated Germany to take out the 2010 LG Life Tastes Good World Championship 2010. Unfortunately, Australian representitive Jake Bujayer failed to win any of the prizes on offer.

Winning over the judges with her barbecued pork tenderloin with rosemary, mashed cauliflower and broccoli meal, frozen vegetables and red pepper emulsion, Caroline Boutoille was crowned the 2010 LG Grand Master. In addition to winning a trophy and LG Lightwave Oven, Ms Boutoille also scored herself a VIP ticket to the 2011 Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix to be held in mid-November.

In second place this evening, and winning a return Business Class fare to Seoul on Korean Air, was Germany. Sabine Kristen and Volker Dittmer won this prize for their zuchinni flowers with lobster and scallops and spiced basmati rice.

World Association of Chefs Societies Prize – South Africa
Le Cordon Bleu Prize – Korean Republic
Smart Chef Prize – Korean Republic
Most Stylish Chef – Thailand
Creative Chef Prize – Italy
Infinite Taste of Soul Prize – United States
Online Viewers Choice – Iran

In addition to the prizes for this year's chefs, LG also announced that the United States had won the bidding process to host the 2011 competition.
