Electrolux Floor Care giving consumers and rivals a towelling

MELBOURNE, VIC: Electrolux Floor Care has announced a new gift-with-purchase promotion to support two of its best performing models. The good thing about this promotion is that the free gift is from outside the category, meaning retailers aren’t giving away a product they could be selling.

Running throughout August 2010, consumers who purchase either the UltraOne (Z8871P, RRP $799) or the UltraSilencer (ZUS3940, RRP $399) will receive, via redemption, two Sheridan Egyptian Luxury queen-size towels (RRP $89).

“Both the UltraOne and the UltraSilencer are premium products. We like to reward those who make such a fine choice in vacuum cleaner with a similar premium product, something that all homes in Australia can use,” said Electrolux Floor Care product marketing manager Julian Huitfeldt.

To promote this offer, Electrolux FC will be supporting retailers with catalogue advertising, in-store point-of-sale material and Google adwords marketing.
