SYDNEY, NSW: Fisher & Paykel has partnered with a new Sydney Cooking School in one of Sydney’s best suburbs: Neutral Bay. Located on Military Road, this new epicurean educational venture is decked out with the best new products from Fisher & Paykel’s Izona cooking range.

Originally designated as a safe port for all foreign vessels – hence its name – Neutral Bay has grown since settlement to become one of Sydney’s most desirable suburbs. It is home to one the city’s most loved public houses: The Oaks, which is directly opposite the new Cooking School.

“This Sydney Cooking School offers an exciting new culinary experience to North Shore residents,” said Fisher & Paykel national marketing manager Peter Russell. “We are delighted to be part of this highly anticipated venture.”

This School, which has its gala opening on 16 August 2010, is run by Brett Deverall and Camilla Baker. Between them, this illustrious pair has experience in premier restaurants in Chicago, London, Oxford, Sydney and Melbourne.

“Partnering with the Sydney Cooking School expands Fisher & Paykel’s growing relationship with Australia’s top cooking schools. We now have strategic partnerships with cooking schools in four states: New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia,” said Russell.

“There is no better way to showcase F&P’s premium cooking appliances than enabling Australia’s budding chefs and home cooks to experience the enjoyment of using these advanced new products.

“Aligning F&P with Australian cooking schools is simply an excellent strategy in support of our premium food preparation products.”
