SYDNEY, NSW: Orlando and Hawaii are two locations being thrown about by Hitachi as possible travel destinations for top performing channel partners recognised and rewarded by the Digital Presentations Solutions Division.

The dealer incentive program is being relaunched for 2010/11, coupled with a new rewards program, following the reported success of a similar promotion last year where 13 of Hitachi’s highest performing dealers were sent to the InfoComm trade event in Las Vegas.

The trip also included helicopter rides over the Grand Canyon and tickets to a David Copperfield show.

An immediate rewards program, the Hitachi Wish Gift, was also launched on 1 July 2010. The promotion credits the dealer with up to $100 of credit for every unit they place and runs until 30 September 2010.

The general manager for the Digital Presentation Solutions department attributes Hitachi’s growth to the channel.

“In Australia, Hitachi’s Digital Presentation Solutions Division is experiencing strong growth and our dealers have played a significant role in helping us achieve this,” Dipak Kumar said.

“We are delighted to be able to reward them for their hard work by inviting them to take part in the Wish Gift card promotion program and have the chance to come on an amazing overseas trip.”

According to Hitachi, a number of dealers throughout Australia have already signed up to the incentive program. Participating dealers are provided with a determined sales target that is reflective of their size, which must be achieved by 31 March 2011.
