According to the release issued to the Australian Securities Exchange, GUD Holdings Limited has extended the offer period for its takeover bid for Breville Group Limited to 30 December 2009.
The reason for the extension is said to be because of the ACCC’s revised timetable for a decision on the matter, which is now not expected until mid-December.
Clive Hall, GUD Holdings chairman, urged those who have not yet decided to accept the offer.
“If you have already accepted GUD’s offer, you need not take any action. If you have not, I urge you to accept the offer without delay,” he said.
