Topfield stakes claim to being Australia’s leading PVR brand

SYDNEY, NSW: Topfield laid claim to being the first manufacturer to introduce a twin tuner recorder in Australia and now the company is claiming another first and thanking retailers for their support in achieving it.

“With a name well-known in the industry, Topfield is back at the top as Australia’s number one brand in the PVR/ DVR category, based on GfK figures for September 2008 to August 2009, measuring unit sales,” said Topfield national sales manager, Danny Susovic.

The Topfield portfolio in Australia includes a large range of digital set top boxes and PVRs. Susovic credited the unit sales leadership to the all-important relationship with retailers.

“Topfield is Australia’s number one brand in PVR and DVR because we work closely with our retailers, we understand the Australian market, we have the widest range of PVRs and DVRs, we provide great after sales service to consumers and retailers and we are growing the range for Christmas.
