SYDNEY, NSW: Fujifilm has today launched some new additions to its compact FinePix camera range with the new J series, which crams 10 and 12 megapixel sensors, 3 x optical zoom, movie recording and a 2.7-inch screen into a 20 mm body.

The new FinePix J27 (RRP $199) and FinePix J30 (RRP $219) are both 20 mm thin feature a 2.7-inch screen, 3x optical zoom, Scene Recognition Auto and Face Detection technology with Automatic red-eye removal.

The FinePix J27 is equipped with a 10-megapixel sensor, while the FinePix J30 features a 12-megapixel sensor.

Both cameras also include a Panorama Mode which seamlessly combines three consecutive shots to produce one panoramic photograph.

The FinePix J27 and FinePix J30 also incorporate Picture Stabilisation Mode which ensures image blur is kept to a minimum for shooting fast moving subjects.

With an ISO sensitivity up to 3200 (at 3MP), the FinePix J27 and FinePix J30 enable photography in low light conditions, without flash.

Movie recording at 30 frames per second with sound is also available on both models.
