Remington Australia has just announced the appointment of a new product manager for Men’s Shaving and Grooming, with Simone Cameron joining the team.
Cameron will take over the role from Nina Bastin, who temporarily held the role in a care taker capacity. Bastin will return to her role as a full time mother.
Karen Markby, senior product manager, Hair Care and Women’s Hair Removal, commented on the extensive experience she will bring to the company.
“Coming from New Zealand, Cameron brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table after working for two years as the appliance buyer for the Noel Leeming Group NZ,” she said.
“The most recent position she held was as a product manager at Carter Holt Group, where she managed a substantial portfolio.”
Markby was confident that Cameron will be a real asset to the team and outlined her major responsibilities.
“Simone will be overseeing the market leading, Remington grooming and hair clipper categories, as well as the men’s shaver category.”
