SYDNEY: Following a corporate restructure within Fujitsu General, Russell White is standing down as director of sales and service and leaving the company at the end of March after 20 years service at the company.

Philip Perham, Fujitsu General director – marketing and sales, who will take on White’s responsibilities, paid tribute to White’s contribution to the company over the past 20 years.

“Russell’s first role with the company was as a sales representative based in North Queensland,” Perham said. “After a lengthy stint in that state, Russell was promoted to State sales manager in Victoria, ultimately rising to a national role, becoming a director in 2003.

“One of Russell’s biggest achievements was stepping in and assuming control of Fujitsu General in very difficult times in late 2002, when Bill Gillett was tragically killed in the Hunter Valley bushfires.

“We wish Russell all the best as he embarks upon a new direction in his life.”

Perham said that White will taking some time off with his family before deciding on his next career move.
