SYDNEY: Giveaways are the name of the game this Christmas as concerns of a consumer slowdown have suppliers sweetening the deal with a range of gift-with-purchase promotions. The latest high-value giveaway is Toshiba’s NB100 NetBook worth RRP $799 with LCD TVs.
Toshiba is offering consumers a free 8.9" Toshiba NB100 NetBook computer (while stocks last) with every purchase of a high definition Toshiba XV500 series LCD TV. The XV500 series LCDs are available in 37", 42" and 46" screen sizes.
The NB100 NetBook, Toshiba’s answer to the Asus Eee PC, weighs approximately one kilogram and features wireless connectivity and a built-in webcam and microphone.

The offer is valid for purchases made between the period of 1 December 2008 and 15 January 2009.
The final date for consumers to claim their redemptions is 29 January 2009.
