Nespresso launches cashback and TVC promotion

Nespresso, a portioned coffee machine endorsed by George Clooney, has announced a cash back consumer promotion to drive sales at Christmas this year.

Consumers who purchase any Nespresso coffee machine between 1 December 2008 and 11 January 2009 will receive $50 back. These machines range in price from RRP $349 to $799.

Sales will also be driven at the supplier end by a point of sale advertising campaign and by a new television commercial starring Clooney and directed by Guy Ritchie (Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels).

Talking about this promotion is Nespresso Australia general manager Renaud Tinel.

“With Australia’s love of quality coffee increasing year on year, coffee machines are growing in popularity as gifts – particularly at Christmas when people are spending time relaxing at home with family and friends.

“This incentive is designed to not only attract new users but to also reward our many loyal Nespresso fans who might be keen to upgrade their machines over the Christmas break,” said Tinel.
