SYDNEY: Sony has opened the doors of its Uchi, Japanese for home, to the world, placing videos of the event on YouTube. Retailers are invited to experience the post-modern product exhibition and learn more about Sony’s plans for the future.

“Through an extraordinary, purpose-built concept space, Sony’s revolutionary new products and technologies came to life like never before. UCHI showcased the next era of connectivity, with products from BRAVIA, Blu-ray, Walkman, VAIO, α, Cyber-shot, Handycam and Audio including a preview of some ‘world first’ Sony products,” said a Sony spokesperson.

Of course, now that Uchi is in the public domain, Sony’s competitors in the manufacturing and distribution game can also exercise some borderline espionage by checking out what the Japanese supplier is up to.
