SYDNEY: LG Electronics today launched its Deluxe Split Inverter Air Conditioning range today at the LG Air Conditioning Academy, located at the brand’s Sydney head office at Eastern Creek.

The new Deluxe range features low noise technology, enabling the air conditioner to operate in a sleep mode at 20 decibels; 12-metre air throw; durable anti-corrosive coating; plasma air purifying system; and an auto clean function.

The Deluxe Split Inverter (S12AWN-4) features 3.36-kilowatt cooling and 3.89-kilowatt heating, and is RRP $1,311.

The ARTCOOL Split Inverter (C12AWR-2) features 3.50-kilowatt cooling and 4.65-kilowatt heating, and is RRP $1,686.

Talking about this release is LG Electronics category manager, air conditioning, Irena Stojceska.

“People want products that work well, look good and cause little inconvenience to their lives, especially when it comes to air conditioners,” said Stojceska. “They are looking for units that provide controlled temperatures all year round so that they can enjoy the comfort home.”

At the launch event, LG Electronics national manager, major appliance sales, Murray Richardson, talked of how the recent trends in the air conditioning market have been centred around three key factors: technology, efficiency, and ease of use. He especially noted the new LG range’s near-silent operation whilst in sleep mode and LG’s history of being first to market with new technology as highlights of the LG’s record.

Richardson also noted that LG is planning a significant advertising and marketing spend to accompany the launch of these new models.
