Canon has released a wide range of new Pixma and Selphy document and photo printers. In total, there are nine new Pixma models and two new Selphy units.
In the Pixma iP range, Canon is set to release the iP4600, the iP3600 and the iP1900. The key features of these models are compact bodies; ChromaLife100+; sustainable life cycle; printing up to 9600 dpi, which Canon calls “lab-quality”; and red eye removal and photo clarity through auto photo fix.
“The Pixma brand continues to support convenient printing for people looking to het the highest quality results at an affordable price,” said Canon senior brand manager K.C Lu.
Also in the Pixma range will be the MP630, the MP980 and the MP620. Features additional to the iP range include wireless LAN (620 and 980 models); creative print functions, such as t-shirt transfers, posters and CD labels; PictBridge technology and memory card reader; 2-way paper feeding; and an easy-scroll wheel.
“People will get the most out of their document and photo printing from our Pixma advanced all-in-one printers, which are produced with a more sustainable future in mind,” said Lu.
At the entry level of the Pixma MP range are three models, the MP480, the MP540 and the MP240.
“Conservation is key for the entire Pixma brand, from affordable price and compact design, to long-lasting photos and environmentally friendly products,” said Lu.
For the Selphy range, Canon has announced the release of the ES3 and the ES30. The key features of these models are long-lasting images, high-speed prints, easy photo editing, LCD display and PC-free printing.
