SYDNEY: LG has appointed new category managers for their television and audio and IT divisions, with Warren Kim joining from Telstra to take over the television role, while former Qantas brand manager Patricia Cheung will be the new audio and IT manager.

Kim was Tesltra’s national merchandising manager for Digital, Data, IT and Fixed Line for two years. Prior to Telstra, Kim was a product manager for seven years with Panasonic, working on various products, including television and audio.

“This is an exciting time for LG especially in the television category thanks to a dynamic line up of innovative and unique products, and I am thrilled to be a part of the action,” said Kim.

Prior to her Qantas role, Cheung worked in international marketing roles at companies such as Mazda, Pfizer and Vodafone.

“I have a mix of both commercial and customer oriented experience and am determined to assist in maintaining the premium standard set by LG and to drive the Audio and IT categories into this exciting new phase,” she said.

LG Electronics Australia managing director Daniel Shin said the new recruits would help drive business growth.

“We are fortunate now to add the tremendous experience and enthusiasm of Warren and Patricia. Their fresh approach will help us deliver continued improvements and drive growth for the organisation,” he said.
