SYDNEY: Omega Appliances has launched a new 6.5kg front load washing machine it will promote as an eco-friendly choice priced at RRP $799.
The new OW6512W has a four star water efficiency rating and uses 66 litres of water to complete a 6.5kg load of washing on a normal cycle, and 50 litres for a 30 minute quick wash.
The machine also boasts a direct drive motor, which Omega claims makes it quieter and more energy efficient than pulley-driven drum systems.
Other features include three spin speeds from 400rpm to 1000rpm, five water temperature settings, electronic display for wash progress information, in-home two-year warranty and a variety of cycles such as Rinse Plus and Prewash.
