Godfreys recalls ‘Electronic Turbo Dust Interceptor’ attachment

SYDNEY: Godfreys has issued a national recall of a batch of its ‘Electronic Turbo Dust Interceptor’ cyclonic vacuum cleaner attachment due to a lack of clearance in the female socket.

The product, part number 31300412, was sold in Godfrey’s stores between October 29 last year and December 31.

According to the recall notice, the contacts in the female socket of one batch have a clearance of 3mm, as opposed to the 5.5mm required by the standard.

Consumers are advised to cease using the product and return it to their nearest Godfreys store for a refund or exchange.
