AUCKLAND: Former Bosch Siemens Home Appliances (BSH) Australia managing director, Paul Ravlich, has joined Siemens New Zealand as managing director, effective from 31 December, but will not deal with the brand’s portfolio of appliances.

Despite rejoining the Siemens brand, the division that Ravlich will lead has no crossover with the company’s appliances business, BSH Appliances.

Ravlich has joined Siemens following the resignation of Gottfried Pausch, who was in the role for five years and according to a media release by the company, has left Siemens in “excellent form, well-positioned to continue its successful record”.

Ravlich has spent the past 18 years working for Bosch and then Bosch Siemens Home Appliances, but left BSH Appliances in Australia returned to his home country of New Zealand in mid-2006 for personal reasons.

Siemens is a diversified technology based solutions provider specializing in power, communications, transportation, healthcare, building and automation.
