SYDNEY: Oricom has announced that after ‘outstanding results’ in growing Oricom’s business in Western Australia as account manager for the state, Katherine Wager has been promoted to account manager – NSW/ACT.

Oricom, which manufacturers communications products including cordless phones, said the Wager would move to Sydney to take on the demanding role in the country’s biggest market.

“This is a great opportunity for me to utilise the skills that I have gained in my time in WA and propel the Sydney market to new heights,” said Wager.

“I am very excited to live in such a dynamic city and work closer with head office to meet my customers needs.”

Wager has been replaced by Gareth Williams in Western Australia, who will take over the mantle of account manager – WA.

According to Oricom, Williams was born and bred in WA and has extensive experience in developing relationships with Oricom’s retail channels through his previous position as account manger for Kodak digital photography products.

Williams will be responsible for building on the sales and relationships that Wager has established during her time in the WA market.

“It is a great opportunity to be apart of such a fast growing company. Oricom has developed a strong reputation for quality products, outstanding service and support,” said Williams.
