SYDNEY: Fisher & Paykel continued its support for the Bonnie Babes Foundation, donating an Ice and Water refrigerator for auction at their annual National Babies Day Gala Ball held on Friday, 12 October.

The charity auction raised much-needed funds for the foundation’s work towards reducing the number of babies that die each year from stillbirth, miscarriage and premature birth, and providing invaluable free-of-charge 24 hour, 7 day per week counseling for parents who have lost babies in these tragic circumstances.

The Foundation’s National Babies Day campaign also raises funds for medical research and the purchase of neonatal medical equipment.

Fisher & Paykel’s involvement in supporting the evening continues a long term relationship with the Bonnie Babes Foundation which spans over six years.

Earlier this year Fisher & Paykel combined forces with The Wiggles and Harvey Norman for a successful in-store promotion that raised around $60,000 for the charity.

“We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support Fisher & Paykel has given us over the years,” said Bonnie Babes Founder Rachel Stanfield-Porter.

“We are delighted to be assisting the Bonnie Babes foundation helping them raise money for such a good cause” said Fisher and Paykel’s national marketing manager, Peter Russell.

“We are proud of our association with promoting women’s health and fitness through our affiliation with both Bonnie Babes and Women’s Golf. It was a great evening for a great cause, and we are delighted to know that money raised will assist so many,” said Russell.
