SYDNEY: Omega Appliances has released a new range of Omega portable air conditioners and dehumidifiers in time for summer — the MOB14K has 14,000 BTU of power and a RRP of $990 and the smaller MOB10K has 10,000 BTU of power and a RRP of $880.
The MOB14K, an air conditioner and dehumidifier in one, is capable of removing up to 400 cubic meters of hot air and 1.5 litres of moisture from the air each hour. The MOB10K can remove up to 360 cubic meters of hot air and one litre of moisture from the air in an hour.
Both models are thermostatically controlled and come equipped with ‘window kits’ to dispose of warm air and moisture. Heavy-duty casters allow the units to be wheeled easily from room to room and come with a one-year in home warranty for parts and labour.
