SYDNEY: Motorola today announced the release of the next-generation Motorazr2 V9, the follow up to the popular Motorazr, which the company claims is the world’s best selling handset.

The new Motororazr2 V9 (RRP $799) sees Motorola continue with the trademark similar slim, flip phone design, but the new model is thinner, stronger and more powerful than its predecessor.

New advancements include the CrystalTalk feature, which automatically adjusts the volume based on ambient noise conditions.

“With the modern style and powerful performance of the Motorazr2 V9, Motorola is once again redefining the mobile phone,” said Motorola South Pacific managing director,  Andrew Volard, in a statement today.

“This device takes the world’s best-selling feature-phone to the next level. With more than 100 million Razr’s sold worldwide, people are now hungry for the next iconic feature phone. The Razr2 delivers the ultimate mobile experience in a slim, strong and smart form that people will want to own, and others will envy.”
