KYNETON, TASMANIA: Betta Electrical in Kyneton, north west of Melbourne, has advised Current.com.au their store was broken into and a selection of LG LCD TVs were stolen without the remote controls— they urge retailers to lookout for customers buying specific remotes.

The five models that were stolen in the raid on 23 August are: 26LC7D, 32LC7D, 37 LC7D, 42 LC7D and LGV271.

Retailers approached by customers asking for remote controls for these TVs are urged be cautious and to take down details on those customers, including contact details and pass the details on to the Betta Electrical store in Kyneton, A. W. Gloster Electrical Pty Ltd. This will assist police with their investigation.
