SYDNEY: Former Panasonic Australia group manager – AV/IT, Brendan Frawley, has joined computer monitor company, ViewSonic, as country manager for Australia, and will oversee the brand’s Australian and New Zealand operations.
Frawley will be based at ViewSonic’s head office in Sydney and according to the company will be focused on managing the reseller and direct sales channels, further establishing the ViewSonic brand in the marketplace with a focus on building consumer awareness and launching new and innovative products.
“Building on its heritage as a leading display technology provider, I believe ViewSonic is well positioned to expand its product offering and brand positioning in Australia and New Zealand,” said Frawley in a statement.
“I will be focused on increasing ViewSonic’s already large LCD monitor market share and driving ViewSonic’s expansion in the consumer electronics market.”
Frawley’s career spans 14 years at a number of high profile companies including Panasonic and Hyundai Automotive.
Viewsonic were unavaiable today to comment on the fate of the brand’s former country manager for Australia, John Yeh.
