SYDNEY: Skunkworks, a leader in flat-screen mounting solutions, has achieved Australia’s top industry accreditation by being granted membership of the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA).

“We’re thrilled to be CEDIA members,” said Skunkworks managing director, Lou Schillaci.

“Over the past four years we have worked hard to ensure all our products meet the highest international standards. For example, all our products have been through the tough European TUV approvals and now carry a 12 year warranty. Being recognised by the industry’s top body is a real pat on the back.”

Australian company, Skunkworks, is well known for its simple solutions that solve sophisticated technology problems and provide all manner of installation and integration solutions for AV and IT problems, as well as for home theatres and commercial applications.

Its 70 models include mounting solutions for all types of plasma and LCD screens as well as mounts for projectors and entire work stations. Additionally, Skunkworks has a range of automated mounts that utilise cutting edge robotic technology.

CEDIA is an organisation of experienced companies involved in the design and installation of electronic systems. It is seen as the organisation that both sets and maintains the benchmark standards for the entire AV installation industry. It is a global organisation with offices in the US, UK and Australia.
