BSR announces advertising plans for Christmas

BRISBANE: Betta Stores Retail (BSR) today announced an “exciting month of advertising ahead for the December period” including Betta Electrical and Chandlers catalogues as well as promotions with Sunbeam and Electrolux Home Products.

BSR has confirmed two 16-page Christmas catalogues will be distributed for the Betta Electrical and Chandlers businesses between 9 and 11 December and national advertising has already been booked for a Betta Electrical post-Christmas sale.

In a statement to members obtained by Current.com.au, the business claims it has a 12-month marketing strategy already planned.

“New marketing, advertising and e-commerce plans for BSR are currently being prepared and this will include a comprehensive catalogue and support media program for all three brands. Due to market sensitivity with this information, there will be more details to come,” the statement said.

BSR has also negotiated two exclusive promotions for the Betta Electrical and Chandlers catalogues – a Sunbeam fuel card redemption and competition as well as an Electrolux refrigerator bonus.

“With the great success of this promotion in 2005, this fuel card redemption with selected Sunbeam products will be repeated in this catalogue. Additionally, all redemption forms received will be entered into the Sunbeam Food & Wine Weekend competition.

"Electrolux will again be supporting the BSR stores with a refrigeration offer of Coles grocery cards with purchase of selected models. Redemption forms will be available on the intranet on release of the catalogue.”
