SYDNEY: The Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) has posted a record breaking sell-through of floor space for this year’s CEDIA expo being held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre from 27 to 29 July 2006.

With the expo already having doubled in size from last year, CEDIA has now reported that 115 per cent of floor space has been sold in record time, making CEDIA Expo 2006, the biggest ever.

“CEDIA Expo’s ongoing growth is great news for the custom electronics industry. Entertainment, information technology, custom electronics and custom installation go hand in hand, and have lead to a significant increase in the quantity of technology, lighting, security and audio visual exhibitors this year,” said CEDIA Australasia general manager, Stephen Miller.

The vast amount of registrations already received online for the 2006 expo means CEDIA will also see more people attend this year than ever before.

The 2006 CEDIA Expo will showcase a greater variety of exhibitors, with a significant increase in the number of technology, lighting and security vendors joining the traditional audio and visual exhibitors.
