By 1992 Muir owned 14 stores across Victoria and Queensland and on Wednesday September 29, 63 years later the company has opened the doors of its 100th Australian store in North Lakes, Queensland.

Photo Continental which has traded as a specialist photo retailer for almost seven decades closed the doors of its Mt Gravatt, Brisbane store last week. The company announced the news to its customers on its Facebook Page on September 14.
