With improved colour performance.

Samsung Australia has confirmed that the new QLED TV and 2017 TV range unveiled at CES will be launched in the local market, although ranging, pricing and availability will be announced closer to the launch.

QLED TVs are capable of reproducing 100% color volume to express all colors at any level of brightness with even the subtlest differences visible at the QLED’s peak luminance between 1,500 and 2,000 nits. Furthermore, the new transparent ‘Invisible Connection’ cable means there are no wires in view and the ‘no-gap’ wall mount is easy-to-install and positions the TV almost flush against the wall.

This year, the ‘Smart Hub’ interface has been extended to smartphones through Samsung’s new and improved ‘Smart View’ app, which now provides a comprehensive overview of all available content on the app’s home screen.

Samsung Australia VP of consumer electronics, Carl Rose said, “As the market leader in TVs in Australia, Samsung is excited to deliver the next evolution in television display technology with QLED TV. It delivers the ultimate picture quality with dramatically revamped colour performance and the ability to express rich details in both bright and dark scenes, whether the TV is in a brightly lit or a dark room.”

“At Samsung we continue to listen to our customers and our QLED TVs also feature a number of design innovations that not only enhance the overall appearance of the TV but also address customer pain points.

“Our customers have also told us that they want simplicity and ease-of-use when it comes to technology. As such, we have continued to evolve our Samsung Single Remote and intuitive Smart Hub UX with features like auto-detect for peripherals that make it easy to set-up and seamless to identify devices and find the content you love,” he added.
