The death of Sergeant Geoffrey Richardson during a police pursuit in the NSW Hunter Valley in March led to Channel Nine’s A Current Affair launching an appeal on behalf of his wife and children. The family had planned renovations to the family home and now thanks to local tradesman and suppliers, the work will go ahead and ACA will film the full build and air the final reveal at a later date.
Smeg is providing all the kitchen appliances, from oven and cooktop to refrigerator and dishwasher plus is retro style toaster and kettle, for the renovation.
