As the exclusive supplier of home appliances for this season of The Block, BSH has been able to showcase the latest state-of-the-art appliances from its brand stable: Bosch, Siemens, Neff and Gaggenau.

Our brands cater for various target groups which is a great fit for the different apartment styles on the show that present our appliances in a real-life setting and inspires viewers for their own kitchen design.
“We are really excited to be able to extend The Block campaign to our retail partners. Now that the kitchens have been revealed, we have seen great advertising on our four brands in-store, in retail catalogues and digital platforms,” she added.
Appliance Retailer was taken through an exclusive tour of The Block apartments in Melbourne to see the appliances installed in each kitchen from the BSH brand portfolio.
Apartment 1: Will and Karlie
The appliances used in this kitchen are by Neff and feature an array of innovative features including: The Slide&Hide door on the pyrolytic ovens that tucks under the oven cavity, and the CircoTherm feature, which allows users to cook, roast and bake on all levels simultaneously with completely different dishes. The Neff VarioSteam feature reduces cooking times and gives dishes the right amount of moisture by adding steam alongside hot air cooking, which is ideal for baking and roasting. The combination of appliances in Will and Karlie’s kitchen includes Neff pyrolytic ovens, compact ovens with full steam and microwave, a built-in coffee centre, warming drawer, wall mounted rangehood, gas cooktop and fully integrated dishwashers.
Apartment 2: Dan and Carleen
The appliances used in this kitchen are Bosch and the intuitive control ring on the Series 8 range makes cooking easier than ever. Users can activate special cooking programs, adjust temperature settings and navigate through the menu settings.
The panel heights and display designs for all Series 8 models are consistent across the entire range to match perfectly. Dan and Carleen have matched the Series 8 pyrolytic oven with a Series 8 combination microwave oven, combination steam oven and the Series 8 built-in coffee machine. They have also incorporated the Bosch Series 8 fully integrated built-in fridge freezers.
Apartment 3: Ben and Andy
Like Apartment 1, Neff appliances have been used in this kitchen. Ben and Andy have designed this kitchen with Neff pyrolytic ovens, steam ovens, a microwave oven, built-in coffee centre, gas cooktop, warming drawer and fully integrated dishwashers.
Apartment 4: Julia and Sasha
The appliances used by Julia and Sasha are Gaggenau. Free of any handles, doors are opened by a touch of the display. The combi-steam oven allows users to steam, braise, bake, cook, grill, gratinate, regenerate, or sous-vide. It also offers an automatic self-cleaning system.
The apartment has Gaggenau Vario cooktops, Gaggenau Vario 400 series refrigerator, freezer and wine climate cabinets with precise cooling technology for different climate zones. This kitchen also includes the pyrolytic oven, combi-steam oven, vacuuming drawer, warming drawer, espresso machine, table ventilation and two dishwashers.
Apartment 5: Kim and Chris
The appliances used in this kitchen are from Siemens. The iQ700 built-in series is elegant in design, fast and easy to operate. With innovations such as the varioSpeed function, food is cooked to perfection within half the time, while the TFT display with full-screen graphic animation guarantees ease of operation.
Different heating types can be freely combined, such as in the iQ700 pyrolytic oven with microwave and pulseSteam, allowing flexible and reliable preparation of food. Kim and Chris have also included built-in coffee machine, gas cooktop, warming drawer, integrated rangehood and two dishwashers.
